SOLVED Canonical http link indexing issue
-
Hi everyone,
I am having an issue where a <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.url.com/"/> is inserted in the header of my home page, next to the meta tags, but I am not sure how I can change it to https. I can manually go add <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.url.com/"/> to the code of my page, but the http version remains, and is picked up by Google.
Any thoughts on how I can remove the http canonical link that is inserted into the header of the page? I haven't been able to find anywhere that I can change or specify the canonical link for the page. Any help is appreciated, as this is affecting our Google Search indexing and SEO.

Hello, @pouyan-farasati solution is simply to activate SSL on your website, then canonical url will start with HTTPS
